Michelle Williams wows in red at the Screen Actors Guild Awards
Monday Jan 30 2012
Michelle Williams dazzled in a stunning red gown at the Screen Actors Guild Awards last night.
The actress bucked the trend for classic black dresses, which seemed to dominate the red carpet. Instead, she stepped out in a bold, eye-popping number.
Showing off her porcelain skin to perfection, the figure-hugging Valentino dress featured intricate lace detailing around the neckline and asymmetrical tailoring.
Michelle teamed the chic gown with gold accessories, including a metallic clutch and a chunky gold chain bracelet. The stunning star opted to match her strappy heeled shoes to her gown's show-stopping hue.
The Help star Emma Stone continued to wow with her award season fashion choices in an opulent black Alexander McQueen gown. The redhead kept her accessories all black, but matched the strapless frock's lace detailing with a frilly clutch and killer heels. She also wore an outstanding gold knuckleduster ring design that covered all of her fingers.
Angelina Jolie also stunned in black, wearing a gorgeous Grecian style Jenny Packham floor-sweeper made from shining lame material. She accessorised her look with a simple gold bangle and funky gold hoop earrings.
The beauty kept her hair simple - keeping her long locks loose and flowing.
Emily Blunt looked gorgeous in a green full-length Oscar de la Renta number with a thigh-high split and one-shoulder ruched strap. The star teamed her gown with a sparkly silver handbag and glittering silver heels.
Lea Michele also dazzled on the red carpet. The Glee actress donned a daring Grecian Versace gown for the occasion.
The 25-year-old stole the show in the one shoulder Versace dress that split to her thigh - showing off her perfectly toned pins. The brunette teamed the frock with simple but elegant silver heels, and a chunky silver bracelet.
