Nicole Richie has perfected how to do a "great cat eye" make-up look.
The former reality TV star's day-to-day beauty regime is relatively simple.
Nicole doesn't layer on the make-up, preferring to add a bright statement lipstick or dramatic eye liner to update her look when needed.
"I wear very minimal make-up, but I can do a great cat eye. It just takes practice," Nicole revealed to Birchbox. "That and a bold red lip and you don't really need anything else to look polished and put together."
The successful fashion designer has go to make-up items that she couldn't live without. Nicole revealed that a good quality high sun protection factored moisturiser is a must for her beauty routine.
"Some of my must-have beauty products include MAC liquid liner, it stays on all day and is easy to apply, and NARS lipstick in Jungle Red, which is a great classic red. I also try and take good care of my skin, so I use a ton of moisturisers and SPF daily," Nicole continued. "I really like Lancer Dermatology Vitamin C Sunscreen SPF 30 and their AM/PM moisturiser."
When it comes to styling her hair, Nicole is pretty particular about the regime she follows. She admitted hers is an unruly mane that requires a lot of conditioner to make it shiny. Nicole proudly boasted about her ability to tame her locks herself, which she has achieved after perfecting a foolproof daily routine over the years.
"Because my hair is naturally curly, I'm also big on leave-in conditioners and shine serums to help hydrate hair and reduce frizz. [My favourite beauty treatment is when] I get a hair rejuvenation treatment with Denis De Souza at the Andy Lecompte Salon," Nicole listed. "I've become pretty good at doing hair! I do my own every morning and start fresh with wet hair even if I don't shampoo it. I use Kerastase Oleo Serum and blow dry it straight."
