Nicole Richie edits her wardrobe "regularly" but is storing her best pieces.
The fashion designer helms two lines and knows she has to be organised or else her closet would burst. She isn't too cavalier though, as she wants her four-year-old daughter Harlow to benefit from her collections of clothes.
"I try to edit my wardrobe regularly and store key pieces for my daughter for when she is older," she explained.
Nicole and her rocker husband Joel Madden also have two-year-old son Sparrow together. Although Joel's punky aesthetic is the total opposite to Nicole laid-back look, she wouldn't dream of telling him what to wear.
The pair are so dissimilar they never go shopping together - unless they need gifts for their kids.
"My husband has great style, so I wouldn't try and change that for the world," she told British newspaper The Telegraph.
"I just love to see everyday people wearing my designs."
