Olivia Munn revealed she "did some work" on her designer shoes to make them fit for a red carpet appearance.
The gorgeous actress put her DIY skills to good use because she was determined to wear a pair of Christian Louboutins that were too small to the premiere of her new show The Newsroom.
The star jokingly likened herself to TV character MacGyver, a secret agent with a wide knowledge of science who frequently uses everyday materials to solve complex problems.
"I did some work on them because they are a half-size too small," Munn told E! Online. "So I put on my nerd cap, and it's plastic in the front, so I took a blow dryer to heat it. I put my foot into it and moulded it, and then I put a cold press to it to freeze it."
Olivia's efforts were certainly worth it, because the unusual shoes stood out as she posed for the cameras.
Featuring a spike-studded, minimal toe cap followed by a clear strip of plastic to give the illusion of the shoe being magically held in place, the heels gave an edge to the brunette beauty's simple Armani gown.
The figure-hugging white design featured an asymmetrical neckline with a shoulder tie and clung to the star's curves. Olivia added lashings of Neil Lane diamonds in the shape of drop earrings, a chunky bracelet and cocktail ring.
