Olivia Palermo's boyfriend isn't afraid to voice his opinion if he thinks her outfit is "funky".

The trend-setting socialite has been dating German-born model Johannes Huebl for around four years. She admits they both pay a lot of attention to clothes and although Olivia rarely criticises Johannes' wardrobe - he doesn't hold back when it comes to what she is wearing.

"Johannes has an amazing sense of style, so I wouldn't say I influence what he wears, but he's the first to tell me if he thinks something I've got on is a little funky," she quipped.

Olivia, who first found fame on MTV show The City, also revealed she and Johannes have a pact when it comes to fashion. This helps ensure they are never photographed together wearing similar outfits.

"If we meet accidentally wearing the same colour trousers then one of us has to go change. It's generally me," she explained to UK magazine Grazia.

Olivia is often hailed as the epitome of Upper East Side chic and embraces every aspect of New York fashion.

There is much speculation about whether Olivia and Johannes will get engaged soon, but the beauty is remaining tight-lipped about her future. When asked about her dream wedding dress, the 26-year-old star refused to divulge any details.

"That I'm going to keep private," she replied coyly.
