Pamela Anderson says that if she didn't wear make-up it would be "cruelty to humans".

The blonde beauty is a supporter of the People from the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). She is particularly against the use of fur in fashion and cosmetic testing on animals.

Pamela has revealed that if the EU postpones their 2013 ban on animal testing she will have to stop wearing make-up.

The stunning model claims that her natural complexion is a sight no one would want to see.

"I hope the EU doesn't turn back the clock and sticks with the original deadline," Pamela told the UK edition of OK! Magazine. "Or I may have to stop wearing cosmetics and that would be cruelty to humans."

As well as her feline eyes and perfect pout, the Baywatch star is famous for her killer curves. Pamela attributes her enviable figure to a mixture of good genes, a meat-free diet and a hectic work and family schedule.

"Good Viking genes, being vegetarian and having rowdy dogs and kids definitely keep me in shape." Pamela claims.

"Not eating meat gives me the energy I need to keep up with work, family and travel - I'm very active."
