Rachel Bilson has revealed her secrets to finding the perfect boot.

The American actress is well known for being one of the most stylish women in Hollywood.

She has recently announced that she will be sharing her style with the public with a collaboration with Beachmint.com.

The stunning star will enlist the help of her stylist Nicole Chavez to help her launch ShoeMint.com - a customised shoe shopping site.

In an interview on the Rachael Ray Show earlier this week, the brunette beauty revealed her top tips to finding the perfect boot.

"The mid-calf is definitely a safe go-to," she explained. "The riding boot is definitely a great everyday thing and it looks good on anyone. You can tuck your jeans into it. It's really easy. But same with … mid-calf; I think it works. So anywhere between the ankle and mid-calf would be good for the more petite."

The star also revealed how she loves to accessorise.

She admitted that square scarves can be difficult to get right, but they are great for mixing up an outfit.

"I think the square scarf is definitely a little trickier because of the shape and the silk and everything," Rachel revealed.

"I do like it as a purse accessory. But it's easy to wear, too. If it's in a triangle, not a square … if you wrap it around and you kind of tie it … at an angle, I think that's kind of cool. I like it a little more funky. You can wear it square on, too, if you want to be more conservative, but I kind of like the little funk to it when it's a little off."

ShoeMint.com follows in the footsteps of Kate Bosworth's JewelMint, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's StyleMint and Jessica Simpson's upcoming BeautyMint.

ShoeMint is due to launch in late November - just in time for holiday purchases.
