Rihanna's fashion show is being re-styled and brought to a wider audience.

This year the popstar made her television debut with Styled to Rock, in which contestants design stage outfits for celebrities, with the winner being allowed to create a look for the Diamonds star herself.

The show originally broadcast on British television, but yesterday it was announced it will be redeveloped for a US audience and shown on American Style Network sometime next year.

"Fashion has always played an integral part in my life and career," the Bajan singer told Fashionista.

"I am so excited to partner with Style Network and share my creative insight with these 12 designers and give them this opportunity to showcase their work."

The 24-year-old will personally select the 12 designers who will compete for the opportunity to dress A-listers in their creations.

There will be a new celebrity guest judge each week, for whom the contestants will be designing their pieces.

Fashion industry experts will also feature as mentors, to give guidance and advice.

Last night the star took to Twitter to share the news of her show with fans.

"My new TV show is coming to @StyleNetwork! Check it out at StyleNetwork.com #StyledToRock (sic)," she wrote.

A nationwide casting call for contestants started yesterday.

This isn't a good time to make travel plans. Weather conditions and work responsibilities have a way of wreaking havoc with your schedule. Wait another few days before putting down a hefty deposit. Working behind the scenes will yield significant rewards. If someone asks you to serve as their assistant, go ahead and accept. The pay will be excellent and there will be a lot of fringe benefits, too. Don't talk about a neighbour's private life in mixed company.More
