Rihanna's stylist has shared the secret formula to her unique rock chick look.

Lysa Cooper revealed the fashion tips she uses when she is working with the Barbadian singer on her music promos.

She believes the Disturbia video sums up Rihanna's part rock n'roll and part hippy-earth-mama style perfectly.

"[I'd call Rihanna's style] rock'n'roll - mixed with a kind of hippy earth mama, Rihanna in her Disturbia video [sums this up] every. Single. Brilliant. Outfit," Lysa revealed to British publication Grazia. "There's always one very strong piece, like a great hat or pair of boots. I don't like too much going on at same time."

Lysa confessed that while Rihanna usually gets her look spot on, she has made the occasional fashion faux pas during her career. She praised the Diamonds singer's new pixie crop haircut and hinted at the pieces that will be fashion forward next season.

"A great, oversized coat is the key to looking good in NYC and London. There's one particular Donna Karan blanket coat I'm obsessed with!" Lysa revealed. "I don't go with what everyone else always loves. Right now I'm into Mara Hoffman, Haider Ackermann, Kokontozai, Rebecca Taylor, Victoria Beckham and Moncler."

If you're not able to provide them with the luxuries they crave, there will be problems. Then again, you have the potential for being a good provider, so all may be well.More
