Ruth Wilson dazzled in a "Little Mermaid-style" number for the Saving Mr. Banks premiere in London yesterday.
The British actress dazzled on the red carpet at the BFI London Film Festival event in a figure-hugging shiny ensemble with different coloured panels.
The piece by Dior looked almost painted on Ruth and had a red block at the bottom, while the top consisted of orange and blue bands on a black background.
"It is a Little Mermaid-like dress! [Director] Joe Wright's doing the [live action version], I should give him a call!" she laughed to website Mail Online.
Joining Ruth at the event was her co-star Emma Thompson.
The 54-year-old actress wore two separate pieces courtesy of British designer Maria Grachvogel's fall 2013 collection.
Her blouse had branch patterns on it and slashed sleeves, which she tucked into a high-waisted black skirt with low pockets. She added a pair of black buckle ankle boots to finish off the glamorous look.
Colin Farrell also went all out for the occasion. The Irish actor wore a long black jacket over this grey pin-striped suit with a white shirt and was seen chatting and laughing with Ruth as they walked the carpet.
Other guests included British singer Lily Allen, who looked stunning in a black and white number with a feathery skirt as she clutched a cute Chanel bag.
