Selena Gomez wants her perfume to be "really romantic".
The brunette star is currently in the process of creating her debut scent. Selena has invited fans to hand pick out the base, heart and top notes of her perfume from a shortlist she's already compiled.
Selena is sure of the direction she wants her fragrance to go in though.
"My perfume, right now, I want it to be really romantic," she told Access Hollywood. "I want it to be sweet and sophisticated."
Selena has been dating Justin Bieber for almost a year. The stunning star says it's important to smell nice for the opposite sex.
"I think with everybody, every girl thinks that that is the first thing [guys] like. To be honest that's what every girl thinks," she explained. "They want to smell good for the boy they like at school or their crush. That's what the main thing is."
Selena has been working to create the perfect fragrance for over a year. Fans can choose from Apple, Raspberry or Melon for the top notes. Heart Notes are Purple Freesia and Pink Jasmine and base notes are Vanilla and Coconut.
As an incentive, the first 100,000 fans to visit her website selenagomezperfumes.com and vote on the favourite fragrance notes will receive a sample before it is available in stores.
A further ten voters will also be flown out to help Selena make the final choices.
