Slash has advised against packing leather pants for a beach holiday.
The flamboyant rocker is known for wearing tight black trousers and a top hat. However, Slash prefers to feel comfortable when he is on vacation. He swaps restrictive clothes for loose fitting outfits which show off his toned body.
"The only thing different I take with me when I'm on holiday, as opposed to when I'm touring, is a pair of shorts," he told British newspaper The Telegraph. "All things considered if I'm going somewhere sunny, you don't want to be wearing black leather pants."
Slash also believes it is crucial not to pack too many clothes. The 46-year-old guitarist insists you only need a few essential items to look fabulous in the sun.
"Keep it simple. Don't pack a bunch of c**p so you've covered every eventuality. I like to pack as little as possible," he replied when asked about his approach to packing for a vacation.
"The downside of keeping it simple is that I inevitably forget something I do need. But it's all good; I don't let it faze me."
