Venus Williams has confirmed two brand ambassadors will debut outfits from her label EleVen's spring collection at the Australian Open.
Johanna Konta and Jarmila Gajdosova will wear creations from her active clothing line in the tennis tournament that starts today.
This will be the first time that styles from EleVen by Venus Williams have been worn in a major contest.
“I’m [pleased] to have Johanna and Jarmila as brand ambassadors,” Venus said to WWD. “They are not just great tennis players but they are both great people, who appreciate style and performance, making them the perfect match for EleVen By Venus Williams.”
Venus explained that the two tennis professionals will first be seen in pieces from the line during the qualifying singles, where Johanna will wear the Break Point dress in white, cream and aqua. Jamila will don the Oh and Oh Love tank and flutter skirt in peach and white.
The sportswoman-turned-designer will also sport creations from her clothing line's spring offering at the tournament.
Venus will show off the Cross Court Floral dress, which is a flower watercolour design in aqua, peach, cream and white with thin black contrast binding at the bust, waistline and sleeves. This ensemble will be added to the current collection available to buy at US retailers, tennis shops and online.
