Venus Williams uses cartoon sketch pads to come up with her latest fashion designs.
The tennis ace launched her EleVen clothing line in 2007 after receiving her associate degree in Fashion Design from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.
Venus - who recently won gold at the London Olympics - is well known for her bold style choices both on and off the court.
The 32-year-old star visualises her fashion line using a ritualistic method.
"I have a soft spot for all things Hello Kitty, and the notebooks are my sketch pads," she told Departures magazine.
Venus will host a garden party and tennis games at the home of her friend Rita Schrager to celebrate her new designs in Southampton, New York, tomorrow.
It was reported earlier this year that Venus will soon launch a "US Open-inspired line" which will lead the way for a "full lifestyle collection coming in September".
The sporting star breathed new life into the clothing line four years after it was forced off shelves after retailer Steve & Barry's struggled with bankruptcy.
