A new beauty queen will be crowned Miss Northern Ireland on Monday night.

The 2014 contest, which is now in its 28th year, has seen hundreds of young ladies compete for the coveted title in a series of heats across the province.

The grand finale takes place at the Europa Hotel, Belfast on May 12 - hosted by former Miss Northern Ireland and television presenter Zoe Salmon and UTV’s Marc Mallett.
