Former Miss Northern Ireland Joanne Salley, who was recently embroiled in a topless photo scandal, is believed to be dating the Prime Minister's brother-in-law.

According to reports the 33-year-old, originally from Dungannon, is stepping out with Robert Sheffield, the half-brother of Samantha Cameron.

Mr Sheffield, the heir to a baronetcy and a 3,000-acre Lincolnshire estate, is reported to have brought the teacher to society magazine Tatler's pyjama-themed party at Claridge's last week and introduced her to his friends.

The teacher at elite boarding school Harrow was at the centre of a scandal earlier this year when the former model was photographed in at least two provocative shots wearing just a pair of tight denim jeans.

She apparently left the memory stick with the images in a school photographic studio where it was found by a pupil.

Hundreds of schoolboys were able to look at the topless photos of their art teacher on mobile phones when the compromising pictures were circulated throughout the £29,670-a-year school.

The Cambridge graduate was reportedly escorted home in tears when it was discovered the boys were ogling their attractive Miss.

When asked last night, however, about the reported relationship between the couple, a spokeswoman for the elite school said: "We don't comment on the personal lives of our teachers."

At the time of the scandal, bosses at Harrow stood by their employee, dismissing reports that Miss Salley had gone into hiding after quitting her job.

Miss Salley, who used to date former England rugby player Matt Dawson was said to be devastated when the secret pictures were shared among pupils and leaked to the media.

Mr Dawson, who's now a team captain on popular quiz show A Question Of Sport, once described Miss Salley as his "Irish lucky charm". The couple dated for six years before separating in 2008.

Miss Salley has been a teacher at Harrow for several years after pursuing a successful career as a TV presenter.

In the wake of the photo scandal, publicist Max Clifford said the teacher should consider a career in glamour modelling.
