Charlie Alfred McDonnell weighed 8lbs 10oz when he was born in the Lagan Valley Hospital on May 30 at 8.15pm.
The baby boy, who was six days late, was given the middle name Alfred as a tribute to Jenny’s grandfather Alfred McCutcheon and he has quickly become a new best friend for the McDonnell’s other son James.
It was James’s fourth birthday the day before Charlie was born, so in the years to come there will no doubt be a few joint-party celebrations at the McDonnell household. “We are absolutely over the Moon,” Brian said.
“We are tired, as you would imagine. It’s an adjustment having two instead of one.
“It’s a big change for James. He is fascinated and says Charlie is his best friend.”
Brian, a financial adviser, and Jenny, a garden business owner, said staff at the Lagan Valley Hospital were wonderful and they can’t speak highly enough of them.
“We has such a good experience at Lagan Valley when James was born that we decided to go back again for Charlie’s birth,” Brian admitted.
“The midwives were great — in particular Joyce.
“We also want to thank our friends and family for all their good wishes and support.”
An embarrassing secret will come to light, affecting your reputation. Somebody who once admired you will now turn away in dismay. Instead of trying to win their affection again, lay low for a wee while. You'll make a much better impression by letting your actions speak for themselves. There is a chance this relationship is beyond redemption. If your former friend decides to keep their distance, you will have no other choice than to respect their feelings. Better luck next time.More
