Baby boy Frazier was born on January 15 at 4.07pm, weighing in at 9lbs 2oz.
Lindsey (27) said she was admitted on Friday, January 13 before going into labour on the Sunday.
“It was a normal birth, but it was awfully traumatic,” she said.
“You’re sort of wondering: ‘Where did all these people in the room come from?’”
Frazier himself, although now much better, was a little poorly shortly after he was born.
“He hasn’t been very well, but he has picked up now,” said Lindsey. “He couldn’t feed and he has a line in for antibiotics and stuff because his heart rate was low.”
But Lindsey said the staff who spent six days caring for her and her baby were “lovely”. Proud dad Ian (33) said his son had really noticeably improved over the last few days.
“After the first day, once they gave him the antibiotics, he then really picked up.”
Lindsey, a nail technician, said she would likely be off work until at least the summer — giving her plenty of time with her little bundle of joy.
She said countless members of both families had been in to check up on the infant — the first boy on Lindsey’s side of the family for some time.
“Oh yeah, we’ve been bombarded with visitors, they were here before we were back on the ward. The grandparents were absolutely over the Moon.”
She said she hoped to have all the folks around soon after arriving back home — including the grandparents.
This isn't a good time to make travel plans. Weather conditions and work responsibilities have a way of wreaking havoc with your schedule. Wait another few days before putting down a hefty deposit. Working behind the scenes will yield significant rewards. If someone asks you to serve as their assistant, go ahead and accept. The pay will be excellent and there will be a lot of fringe benefits, too. Don't talk about a neighbour's private life in mixed company.More
