Nadia and Andrew Duncan, from Ballinderry in Co Antrim, are celebrating the birth of their second son.
Marcus Nathaniel Duncan was born one week early on April 2 at the Lagan Valley Hospital's midwife-led unit.
He weighed 7lb 5oz on his arrival in the world and measured 51cms in length.
The Duncans chose not to find out during Nadia's pregnancy if they were having a boy or girl, preferring to keep it as a surprise.
The proud mum recalled the moment her beautiful baby son was handed to her.
"It was a very quick birth, we just about made it to the hospital in time," Nadia said. "Seeing your child for the first time is such an emotional experience. It's so overwhelming. It's fantastic.
"He looks so much like his brother did when he was born and he's got his daddy's eyes, nose and mouth. He's definitely more like Andy than me."
The Duncans' first-born Reuben (6) is adapting every well to having a little brother in the house and is being excellent help to his parents.
"Reuben has been fantastic," Nadia added. "He dotes on him and has been helping out loads, running to get me nappies."
Nadia said she was very pleased with her birth experience at Lagan Valley's maternity unit.
"The midwives were fantastic," she said. "The care was great"
