First-time parents Louise Lundy and Steven McNeill, from Lisburn, are celebrating the birth of a son, Mason.
Mason James William McNeill, to give him his full title, weighed 6lbs 7oz and measured 49cm when he was born at the Lagan Valley Hospital's midwife-led unit on December 28 at 2.48pm.

Louise said that, throughout her pregnancy, she had strong suspicions she was carrying a boy.
“I had a feeling we were having a boy,” she said. “But we didn’t want to know in advance.
“Everyone was joking with me about him arriving on his due date, because I am so organised.
“I’m always on time, so people were saying he takes after me.”
Louise picked the first name Mason for their son because she liked it. The couple then decided that the beautiful little boy would have James and William for his middle names after their respective fathers’ first names.
Proud new mum Louise said she was thrilled when her son was handed to her and praised the quality of care at Lagan Valley.
“I couldn’t believe it,” she said. “He was just gorgeous, just absolutely perfect.
“The staff at Lagan Valley were amazing. It was like a home from home and everyone couldn’t have been nicer.”
Louise explained that, while Mason is just a tiny bundle, he is “taking over” the house — in a good way, of course.
She also said that in spite of her and Steven being very sleep-deprived, they are both very happy 2013 is off to a good start.
“I was sitting feeding Mason on New Year’s Eve and just thought to myself: ‘We couldn’t start the year any better way’,” Louise said.
