Vintage fever took Lisburn by storm last Saturday when Northern Ireland’s favourite vintage event, the fabulous Frock Around The Clock Vintage Fair, visited the City for the first time.

Visitors turned out in their hundreds for a big helping of timeless glamour, reminiscence and fun, and to shop for quality vintage and upcycled treasures from a fantastic line-up of 40 handpicked Irish vintage dealers, designers and crafters.

With everything from original vintage fashions, mid-century furniture and homewares, collectable artworks, chintzy china and floral decorations, antique toys, dolls and bears, glittering costume jewellery, scrumptious cupcakes and chocolates, upcycling workshops and restoration experts, cards and gifts, hand-knits, homemade chutneys and jams, and a Vintage Tea Boutique, there was something to suit all tastes and budgets.

Frock Around The Clock will be celebrating their 4th birthday with their next event which takes place on Sunday 4th November at Malone House, Belfast and will be finishing off the year with their Christmas event which takes place on Sunday 2nd December at Lissan House, Cookstown. More information on these events and the exhibitor lists can be found online at www.decadencevintagefairs.com and facebook.com/decadencevintageevents.

The pay will be excellent and there will be a lot of fringe benefits, too. Don't talk about a neighbour's private life in mixed company.More
