Supermodel Kate Moss (38) has told how she suffered a nervous breakdown as a teenager after being pushed into posing topless.
The model spoke about the pressures she was under and how for many years she had no-one “to take care of” her, apart from the spell she spent dating Hollywood star Johnny Depp.
She told Vanity Fair magazine how uncomfortable she felt while working on a shoot for style magazine The Face which helped to propel her to fame.
“I see a 16-year-old now, and to ask her to take her clothes off would feel really weird,” she said.
“But they were like ‘If you don't do it, then we're not going to book you again'. So I'd lock myself in the toilet and cry and then come out and do it. I never felt very comfortable about it.”
