It was a romantic engagement in the love capital of the world, as one of Northern Ireland's best-known models was handed a dazzling diamond by her very own Mr Diamond.
Under a starry sky beside the twinkling lights of the Eiffel Tower, socialite Katie Larmour (29) immediately said yes when Harry Diamond (29) popped the question on Tuesday evening.
The couple – who are both close friends of golf star Rory McIlroy – were enjoying a city break in France when publican Harry surprised Belfast beauty Katie with the all-important question.
On Tuesday evening, the duo had dined at the Michelin-starred L'Avenue restaurant before making their way to the Eiffel Tower.
As the tower, which sparkles every hour on the hour, lit up Harry got down on one knee and asked model Katie to be his wife.
The romantic suitor produced a stunning diamond in a vintage surround.
"I can't believe it. It was the most romantic proposal I am so excited and I can't wait to show my beautiful ring off now that I'm home," said Katie, as the glowing couple made their way back to the home they share in Holywood, North Down.
"Although I had planned all my outfits for FashionWeek now I'm going to have to re-think them all to see what looks best with my fabulous engagement ring."
The couple – who have been dating for four years – are often seen out and about at star-studded parties.
But Katie revealed the first time the soon-to-be-married pair met was much less glamorous – at a takeaway restaurant in Belfast after a night out at 3am.
There was certainly no sign of any takeaway restaurants during Harry's lavish romantic gesture as he whisked bride-to-be Katie away on a luxury Parisian trip.
Every part of the special holiday was planned meticulously by her new fiancé, which started when the love-struck couple checked in to the five star La Maison Champs Elysees hotel, designed by fashion house Maison Martin Margiela.
Harry, who clearly knows how to impress a lady, has been a close pal of Rory McIlroy since childhood – and is also a renowned local golfer.
