Belfast Telegraph Runher: Stormont, October 6, 2013 

Participants can choose to run or walk 5k, or take on the 10k challenge.  What a great way to spend time with friends and colleagues at a fun and friendly all-girls event! 

The timings for the event are as follows:

Dash for Kids at 1.30

Official Warm-up at 1.45

5k run and walk at 2.00

10k run at 2.30

 

Belfast Telegraph Runher, now in its 7th year, is all about getting women running (or walking) and attracts more than 3000 runners a year. 

Runher is an event for all women: from competitive runners to fun runners, fitness fanatics to those who just want to get fit, school girls, grannies, charity runners/walkers and workplace colleagues.

Charities represented at the event will include: Action Cancer, SOS Bus NI, Marie Curie, MS Society, NI Hospice, Run in the Dark, Macmillan, Sands, Cash for Kids, Tiny Life, Clic Sargent, NSPCC and Diabetes UK amongst others.

Goody Bags

This year's goody bags are packed full of exclusive sporting and pampering items.  Included will be a special edition event Belfast Telegraph Runher technical tshirt with goodies from a range of top sponsors including: WaterWithin, Ocean Spray, and Free'ist chocolate. 

Fantastic Prizes are available for the top 3 places in each event and there will be fantastic spot prizes provided by Runher hotel partner Premier Inn hotels, Pure Running running specialists and physiotherapy partner Apex Clinic.

Runher Champion Challenge

Belfast Telegraph Runher is an ideal event for businesses to field teams and encourage camaraderie and team building amongst female staff members.  This year's team event, the Belfast Telegraph Runher Champion Challenge, looks set to be our biggest yet!

To register as a team, you just need to ask individual team members to sign up at www.runher.co.uk, entering the team name in the Charity/Workplace field.  Alternatively, you can request paper entry forms and return these with cheques to Runher's specialist running partner, Pure Running, at 60 Wellington Place Belfast. 

Pack Collection

Pack collection will take place at our Belfast Telegraph Runher Expo from 10am-7pm Thursday 3rd October, 10am-6pm Friday 4th October and 10am-5pm on Saturday 5th October, 2013, in Pure Running, 60 Wellington Place, Belfast, BT 1 6GF.  Entry is available on the day at the Runher village - next to Parliament Buildings in the Stormont Estate - from 10am. This will close around 1pm.
