In my day: We quiz Sara O'Neill on the time of her life
Q. What was your decade?
A. I loved the 90s as it was a great time for music and even fashion. I was experimenting with grunge, punk and goth to an extreme to the despair of my parents.
Q. What was life like back in the 90s?
A. Those were my school days and they were fun. I'm from Portrush so we went to Kelly's and house parties.
Q. What were you listening to?
A. The Blur v Oasis thing was big when I was at school. I also listened to Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, Sepultura and Rancid. We shared music by making mix tapes.
Q. And the style - what was it like then?

A I loved vintage shopping, although it was called second-hand back then. I would go and stay with family in Dublin a couple of times a year and go shopping in the hippy shops in Temple Bar.
Q. What has changed between then and now?
A Technology. The internet, social media and smartphones have changed everything from how we socialise to how we listen to music and watch TV.
Q. What was better back then?
A. I wouldn't be able to live life like I do now without the new technology. In saying that, music was still way better in the 90s.
