Mystery Jets to play pop-up venues

The Mystery Jets are to preview their third album at five 'pop-up' venues across the UK.

After touring Europe with the Arctic Monkeys, the band will perform at the locations as part of the Chevrolet Spark Unscheduled Tour.

The venues will be decided by the public following the launch event at The Vinyl Factor in London on April 8 - and backdrops range from a drained swimming pool and multi-story car park to an old picture house and ferry across the Mersey.

Cities to choose from for the 'pop-up' gigs - which will take place every two weeks throughout April to June - include Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Brighton, Edinburgh and Bristol.

DJ Jack Penate will also play at the London launch, with further acts to be announced, and a Chevrolet Spark will be on hand for gig-goers to graffiti using unique digital infra-red light that simulates paint.

Along with live music there will also be light art commissions by legendary illustrator and in-house art director at ISO Kate Moross.

The Chevrolet Spark Unscheduled Tour is a free invite-only event. Visit for more information on how to bring the tour to your area and win an exclusive ticket.
