Mixed day for Irish on day three of the Madeira Open

Overnight leader Antrim's Michael Hoey had dropped three strokes on his first five holes to slip to four under playing the 13th and he's tied for second place.

Meath's Damien McGrane is alongside him, and even par for his 12 holes thus far.

Donegal's Michael McGeady is two under for the tournament.

Argentina's Estanislao Goya is the new leader at eight under playing the 14th.
