Connacht record first win over Munster in 22 years

Connacht have recorded their first win over Munster in 22 years after pinching a 12-6 victory at the Sportsground in Galway last night.

Ian Keatley scored four penalty goals as the home side beat their illustrious rivals for the first time since 1986.

The win follows their memorable defeat of Leinster at the same venue last month.

Despite the victory, Connacht remain bottom of the Magners League, while Munster are three points clear of the Ospreys at the top of the table.
