Seven uncapped players make it onto Ireland squad

Ireland manager Stephen Staunton has named seven uncapped players in his squad to play San Marino in next week's Euro 2008 qualifier.

Charlton goalkeeper Darren Randolph, Royal Antwerp midfielder Darron Gibson , Reading pair Shane Long and Stephen Hunt, Andy Keogh of Wolves, recent Sunderland signing Anthony Stokes and Sheffield United's Stephen Quinn are all included.

Stephen joins his brother Alan in the squad, while Newcastle's Alan O'Brien has been called into the squad after Celtic winger Aiden McGeady's withdrawal due to a knee injury.
