2 million displaced by severe floods in India

UNICEF has said it could be months before those affected by severe flooding in India can move back into their homes.

Around 85 people have been killed and more than two million have been displaced by the worst flooding in India in 50 years.

Indian authorities have struggled to provide aid to millions of people and hygiene conditions at some of the government-run relief camps are reportedly very poor.
