Six killed in US missile attack in Pakistan

At least six people have been killed in a suspected US missile attack in north-western Pakistan this morning.

Pakistani intelligence officials say the missiles - fired from an unmanned drone - hit a suspected Taliban training centre in South Waziristan, near the Afghan border.

The unnamed officials say six militants were killed and seven others injured.

The Pakistani army is currently fighting a major battle with Taliban militants in the north-west of the country.
