Bomb explodes outside Spanish police barracks
A car bomb has exploded outside a police barracks in the northern Spanish city of Burgos this morning.
The explosion caused significant damage to the Civil Guard barracks and also injured 46 people, most of whom were hit by flying glass.
Local officials say no warning was issued ahead of the blast, which is being blamed on the Basque separatist group ETA.
The group announced a ceasefire three years ago, but resumed violence within months following the collapse of peace talks with the Spanish Government.
