A new cafe specialising in artisan doughnuts is set to open in Belfast this month.

Taboo Donuts on Ann Street will occupy a former Doorsteps Sandwich shop. The new name on the high street is seeking a manager and full- and part-time baristas.

Its launch follows on from Canadian chain Tim Horton's arrival in Belfast last month.

The coffee, doughnut and confectionery specialist opened its first store on Wellington Place.

Meanwhile, home-grown coffee shop brand Ground Espresso has opened its newest cafe in Banbridge. It also recently opened up stores in Belfast's Victoria Square, Lisburn and Portadown.
