Belfast's two Ibis hotels to undergo £1.5m refurbishment

The Ibis hotels in Belfast are to undergo a £1.5m revamp over the next two years to include new lobbies and bedrooms.

Owners Andras Hotels said the move will strengthen the offering at Ibis Belfast city centre and Ibis Queen's Quarter as the "leading value-for-money hotel choice in the city centre".

The fresh investment comes as both hotels mark 10 years in business.

Andras, which is Belfast's biggest hotel group, said that both venues have enjoyed consistent month-on-month occupancy rates exceeding 85% over the past 12 months, and "unfailingly receive outstanding guest satisfaction ratings".

Rajesh Rana, director of Andras Hotels, said the hotels' staff were committed to doing their best for guests.

"The standards in both our city centre and our Queen's Quarter hotels are consistently high," he said.

"That attracts return bookings and word-of-mouth recommendations by satisfied guests."
