Bombardier confident it 'will hit 2018 sales target'
Bombardier missed sales targets for its part-Belfast made passenger planes in 2017 but is confident it can hit them this year.
The Canadian manufacturer delivered 17 C Series planes in 2017. But according to the Globe and Mail, while it missed its target of between 20 and 22 aircraft, it would hit 40 this year, a company spokeswoman said.
Bombardier is locked in an ongoing trade war with Boeing, with the US firm claiming it's selling its C Series passenger planes at below cost, and has been unfairly subsidised by Canada's regional government in Quebec.
