£1m initial refurb of Dunadry Hotel completed

By Staff Reporter

Hospitality firm McKeever Hotel Group has announced that it has spent £1m on the first phase of refurbishing its newest acquisition.

The family-run company, which started out with Corrs Corner in Newtownabbey, bought the Dunadry Hotel between Templepatrick and Antrim last year. It has now carried out improvements to the Dunadry's ballroom, Peacock Lounge and Linen Suite.

It's the fifth hotel in the family's portfolio, joining Corrs Corner, the Adair Arms in Ballymena, the Dunsilly Hotel in Antrim and Dillons Hotel in Letterkenny, Co Donegal

Managing director Eugene McKeever said: "The work completed has come at a cost and to date we've spent some £1m, but we are delighted with the result.

"As a service-driven business, we had to ensure the scope of the work was responsible and very carefully thought out."

He said the hotel's ballroom can now has a capacity of 240 guests for awards dinners.
