The Fitzwilliam Hotel in Belfast has been named Northern Ireland AA Hotel of the Year 2019-20.

The Great Victoria Street hotel first opened 10 years ago. It now has 146 guest rooms and also holds five stars from the AA.

General manager Cian Landers said: "This means so much to us and is testament to the efforts of the fantastic team we have here at the hotel, and the continuous effort to ensure we go above and beyond in creating a special experience for all our guests.

"I am extremely proud of our entire team whose hard work has made this possible."
