Coffee giant Starbucks has announced it's to open its largest drive-thru in Northern Ireland at Antrim retail and leisure destination, The Junction.

The newly-built 110-seat unit has brought 25 new jobs and is the global coffee chain's third drive-thru in Northern Ireland.

The company, which was founded in Seattle in the US, now has 103 outlets on the island of Ireland.

The Starbucks drive-thru is part of an ongoing £30m redevelopment plan at The Junction.

The project is on target for completion in 2021. Other chains including Nando's are also due to open.

The Junction director Chris Flynn said: "With an existing establishment already operating here, it's a testament to our reputation that a global chain like Starbucks has further invested in a second unit at The Junction."
