New look for Belfast city bar after £350k renovation
Hospitality chain Beannchor Group has completed a major £350,000 renovation of its Belfast city centre venue The National.
And the Cathedral Quarter bar and cafe has reopened to the public after the month-long revamp.
The venue at the former National Bank Building on High Street has been given new interiors and a revamped food and drink menu.
And its beer garden has also been given fully retractable awning and a new heating system.
A range of regular events will cater to the growing foodie scene in the city, including a new monthly supper club. Conall Wolsey, director of the Beannchor Group said: "In this industry, constant innovation and improvement is crucial as consumer tastes change. This project is about an evolution of our offering at The National, from the updated interiors that create a more comfortable, inviting environment through to our new and improved food and drink menus."
