A Northern Ireland home care company is creating nearly 30 new jobs as part of an investment of around £200,000.

Extra Care has created 20 care worker positions and eight senior roles in areas including finance, operations and senior care staff. The majority of roles will be based across east Belfast, Carrickfergus, Larne and Cookstown.

Finance and operational management roles will be at its headquarters in Antrim.

The company has over 300 staff across Northern Ireland, who work in helping people to live in their own homes despite old age or illness.

Chief executive Brian Hutchinson said: "Extra Care is committed to its workforce and our people are our greatest asset. We want to build on our already brilliant team whilst striving to provide the best care for our clients."
