NAMA almost rid of 'ghost' house estates

NAMA has got rid of almost all of its ghost estates and expects to 'resolve' the last six of them by the end of the year.

The news comes as BidX1 sold four unfinished housing developments at a recent auction at prices ranging from €336,000 - a turnaround from the situation during the property crash when there were many predictions that hundreds of unfinished houses would have to be demolished. It has been reported that less than 100 residential properties have actually been razed.
