£130k boost as Co Tyrone engineering experts seek new custom
An engineering firm in Co Tyrone is creating four new jobs and investing over £130,000 in a bid to increase sales in Britain and the Republic.
Arolco in Castlederg employs 35 people and specialises in polyurethane and rubber rollers for industry.
The firm, formed from a merger of Maxweld Engineering and Arolco, received a £20,000 cash boost from Invest NI's Jobs Fund to help them in their expansion.
Managing director, John Paul McHugh, said: "Our business in Northern Ireland and the Republic is developing steadily because we are able to offer manufacturers a complete engineering solution in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of rollers for production machinery."
Invest NI regional manager Des McGartland said the new jobs would add £67,000 to the area's economy.
