170,000 recyclers in Northern Ireland join suicide prevention battle

Around 170,000 households in Northern Ireland are helping to raise money for suicide prevention charity PIPS through their recycling.

For every tonne of glass, paper and plastic collected through Bryson Recycling's kerbside boxes, £1 will be donated to PIPS to support its work throughout Northern Ireland.

Social enterprise Bryson Recycling passes on recycled materials to packaging firm Huhtamaki in Lurgan, glass firm Encirc in Fermanagh and Cherry Plastics in Dungannon, which are all supporting the fundraising drive.
