The Antrim based fit-out specialist, Marcon, is celebrating after the completion of the refurbishment of the former Platform Bar in Holywood.

Renamed Tate's Bar & Grill, it was transformed from a traditional pub to a contemporary style by the firm in six weeks.

Mark McElroy, director, Marcon Fit-Out, explained: "We worked in partnership with the client to interpret their vision into a stylish yet practical interior that is fit for purpose. They wanted something that would put them on the bar scene map in the area."

It involved a new stone bar with feature walnut panels, flooring, lighting, sound system and new tables and seating.
