Bank fills corporate top post

Ulster Bank has appointed a new head of corporate and institutional banking.

Chartered accountant Kenton Hilman has worked for the bank for nine years and has had senior jobs in its business centre network, including head of its Belfast and north Down business centre.

In his new job, he will lead Ulster Bank's corporate banking teams in Northern Ireland in looking after the banking of large companies in the province.

Mr Hilman said: "Working in partnership with our customers is the key to our success. We offer a high quality relationship management service delivered by experienced banking professionals which has attracted an impressive list of some of Northern Ireland's best known companies.

"As part of my new role I will ensure we continue to improve and build on our successes to date."

Eddie Cullen, Ulster Bank's all-Ireland head of corporate and institutional banking, said: "Kenton has significant banking experience and knowledge of the Northern Ireland business environment which will be hugely valuable to him in leading the corporate and institutional banking teams and building robust business relationships."
