Belfast bar building sold to developer
The home of Belfast bar Bittles has been sold to property developer BJ Eastwood.
The bar, which sits at the back of Victoria Square shopping centre, is run by John Bittles.
Now, the building has been sold off to Wirefox. The Holywood firm has refurbishment plans for the building, which includes new office space.
Joanne McBurney, director of developments at Wirefox, said: "The purchase of this truly iconic building is the latest example of Wirefox's burgeoning suite of Belfast city centre assets.
"There is significant commercial property activity in the area and the vacant units on each floor offer tremendous potential for development.
"The demand for more city centre office space still continues to outstrip supply, and we are confident there will be a lot of interest in the building when commercial property agents Savills bring the new units to market."
