Brian Irwin, Irwin's Bakery's executive chairman

The report is pivotal to the future growth of the agri-food industry and highlights the tremendous potential for the sector to contribute to economic recovery and job creation.

I believe there is a great future for the food and drink industry in Northern Ireland and excellent opportunities exist for our young people to develop skills and careers in the sector.

County Armagh and in particular the Craigavon area is a hub for some of Northern Ireland's top agri businesses and we will continue to play a major role within the sector and wider Northern Ireland economy.

Irwin's growth strategy is based on product quality, tradition and innovation, with a focus on exports and I believe the agri-food action plan will help us to achieve this growth.
