Co Armagh firm cleans up with 50% rise in sales

A family-run cleaning equipment business has grown its sales by 50% in the last two years.

Craigmore, which operates the largest Karcher centre in Ireland and the second largest in the UK, says the growth is partly due to online sales, which have risen sharply.

The Portadown firm is adding two new members of staff to add to its current team of 16.

Geoff Baird, managing director of Craigmore, said: "We are thrilled at our growth figures which are down to the fantastic work of our team - in particular our internet department have done a brilliant job at presenting our products and continually improving the customer experience.

"These highly skilled and motivated young staff are using the latest technology and sales techniques to explore all available markets and are having fantastic results."
