A Co Tyrone nursing home is investing £450,000 to upgrade and expand its facilities with the support of Ulster Bank. Collegelands Private Nursing Home on the Lislasly Road outside Dungannon is adding 10 new rooms, including refurbishment and upgrading existing rooms and living spaces.

The investment, financed by Ulster Bank, is worth more than £450,000.

The newly updated home will provide 30 single rooms, meeting increasing demand for space at the facility.

Patrick McAvoy, director of Collegelands Private Nursing Home, said: "We are very proud of the investment that we have made, which positions Collegelands as a modern and attractive facility for residents and potential residents.

He added: "We are very grateful to Ulster Bank, whose expert team have played a crucial role in helping make this investment a reality."
