A Co Londonderry insurer is to create 17 new jobs as it builds on the success of a brand aimed at women.
MCL Insurance Services in Coleraine said sales at 'its4women.ie' - which is advertised by Irish Olympic boxing champion Katie Taylor - had doubled in 2014.
Thanks to the growth, the firm now plans to hire another 17 people for its call centre in the town, which already employs 40 staff.
The firm said the brand now had more than 50,000 policy holders and handled over €22m in business. It sells property, car, travel and health insurance.
Managing director Gary McClarty said: "The success of its4women.ie has created the need for new jobs to support our continued growth in both Northern Ireland and the Republic.
"The new positions will help expand the team already in place at our Coleraine call centre as we look towards further growth.
"The staff in Coleraine have been integral to the success of its4women.ie and I hope to continue creating more jobs the next 12 months as the brand goes from strength to strength."
The company said it hoped to attract another 100,000 its4women.ie policy holders in the next 12 months across Ireland.
It has ploughed £1.5m into a TV advertising campaign featuring Bray boxer Katie, who won a gold medal in the 2012 London Olympics.
